Meet our Co-Founders, Julie & Tony Bombacino. Prior to creating Real Food Blends they both worked in the digital marketing industry for over 15 years, and never thought they would be running a food company with a mission to help people with feeding tubes.

Armed with determination and the love for their young tube-fed son, AJ, The Bombacinos embraced their new “normal”, spent years doing R&D, made a lot of mistakes along the way — and through all the twists and turns, ended up developing what would become Real Food Blends. Here’s a little more about what they were up to before RFB.

Julie Bombacino is Co-Founder & Chief Executive Officer of Real Food Blends, the leading maker of 100% real food meals for people with feeding tubes. Originally inspired by she and her husband Tony’s young son AJ, who is tube-fed and the company’s “Chief Inspiration Officer”, Real Food
Blends now serves tens of thousands of people nationwide.

Prior to co-founding Real Food Blends, Bombacino spent 15+ years in various digital and direct marketing leadership roles at companies of all sizes including Road Runner Sports, United Airlines and optionsXpress where she helped her teams achieve record sales and growth. A trusted mentor and positive example in conscious entrepreneurism, Julie holds an MBA in Marketing from DePaul University and a BS in Marketing from The Ohio State University.

When she isn’t leading the charge in the office or working to keep the trains running on time at home, Julie enjoys reading, sweating it out at barre class, being a Mom and testing her gardening skills.

Tony Bombacino

Co-Founder

Tony Bombacino is Co-Founder & Chief Marketing Officer of Real Food Blends. Prior to co-founding Real Food Blends, Bombacino spent 15+ years in various digital and direct marketing leadership roles at companies of all
sizes including Andersen, United Airlines, Resolution Media (acquired by Omnicom Media Group), where he was the 6th employee and part of the original leadership team, Restaurant.com, where he helped grow the company’s revenue 25X during his tenure and Signal (formerly BrightTag). Aside from his day jobs, Bombacino has also spent much of his career helping, mentoring and working with aspiring marketers and entrepreneurs via
associations and charities ranging from the Chicago Interactive Marketing Association (CIMA), Chicago Association of Direct Marketing (CADM), The CMO Club, Tech Stars and more. Tony holds an MS in Direct & Interactive Marketing from Mercy College and a BS in Marketing from Saint Xavier University.

When he isn’t helping his life and business partner Julie create the next phase of Real Food Blends, he loves golfing, fishing, traveling, playing around with his kids and pretending like he is the next great chef.
